The project focused on addressing cracks in the PQC pavements along the Yadgiri-Warangal section of NH 163, a crucial transportation route in Telangana. Distresses in the longitudinal joints threatened the highway’s safety and functionality, prompting a comprehensive study using advanced distress mapping, exploratory tests, and root cause analysis. The project led to effective solutions targeting joint separations, improving pavement durability and sustainability. Collaborating with NHAI and the Authority Engineer, the project was expertly managed, ensuring the long-term performance of the 99.103 km stretch.
