Project Description

The project creates a high-resolution 3D model of the Garrison area by integrating drone-based aerial surveys, ground truthing, advanced land use classification, and subsurface utility mapping. CUBE executed end-to-end survey design, including GCP establishment, DSM/DTM and orthoimage generation, Level-3 LULC mapping, and Ground Penetrating Radar surveys to identify underground utilities. All datasets were seamlessly integrated into a unified 3D environment to support accurate planning, monitoring, and sustainable area management. The project delivers detailed 2D and 3D maps, a clearer understanding of land use and subsurface infrastructure, and improved decision-making for urban development. Key milestones in the project include 3D Modeling, a complete campus walkthrough and VR Utility development for the campus walkthrough.
